Cork is the second largest city in the Republic of Ireland, and is the political, economic and cultural central of the Southern Region. It is a Sister City of Shanghai, China. Cork has also signed MOUs with Hangzhou, Wuxi and Shenzhen to encourage co-operative development. The Ireland Cork Chinese Business Association is an integrated non-profit organization, which was established in March 2018. Headquartered in Cork, the ICCBA is the only organisation of Chinese and Chinese Overseas groups in Cork City, which is approved by the Cork City Council and reports to the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Ireland. Its Members are Chinese and overseas Chinese living, working and studying in Cork, who originally come are from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and other countries such as Malaysia and The Philippines; it also has nearly 100 corporate members, covering Catering, Real Estate, Finance, Education, Agriculture, Information Technology and other sectors.


The mission of the ICCBA is to: provide a platform to resource Chinese businesses in Cork; promote economic and cultural exchanges and communications between China and Ireland; enable Cork to become a haven where Chinese and Chinese Overseas enjoy living, working, studying and visiting, in other words ‘a Chinese-friendly city’.



       爱尔兰科克市是爱尔兰第二大城市, 也是爱尔兰南部地区的政治、经济、文化中心,同时也是中国上海市的姐妹城市,并与深圳,杭州,无锡三大城市签署了发展合作的谅解备忘录。爱尔兰科克华人商会成立于2018年3月, 是经科克市政府批准, 并在中华人民共和国驻爱尔兰大使馆报备的综合非盈利性社会团体,是科克市唯一华人华侨组织团体。 个人会员包括在科克地区生活工作学习的华人华侨,分别来自中国大陆,港、澳、台地区以及马来西亚、菲律宾等国家;包含近百家会员企业事业单位,涵盖餐饮、地产、金融、教育、农业、信息科技等行业领域。

        商会的宗旨是广泛联系和团结在科克地区的华人企业、组织及个人;为中国爱尔兰两国企业提供相关的政策、法律以及商业等领域的咨询和指导服务,搭建经济、文化交流合作的桥梁;并积极参与当地的政治、经济和文化活动,努力提升华人的社会影响力和声誉;维护华人社区安定团结,维护华人合法权益,树立华人良好形象。
